I started doing data science during my PhD where I fell in love with the Tidyverse. I then went to work at Impossible Foods, building their scientific data architecture with GCP tools (BigQuery, Cloud Functions) and Streamlit. After that, I joined the Streamlit team at Snowflake, working on Streamlit-in-Snowflake, Snowflake Notebooks, and most recently Cortex Code.

I earned my PhD in Food Science in 2019 from UC Davis, working in the Guinard Lab. My research focused on multivariate analysis bridging chemometrics, consumer testing, and descriptive analysis—applied to new varieties of California-grown citrus fruit.
